Marriott’s Park Development – Surgery Update
We’re aware of the concerns raised in this recent article regarding the Marriott’s Park development and its impact on local infrastructure, particularly access to GP services.
While the surgery was invited to attend the the public meeting on 6th September 2025, we are unfortunately unable to be present. However, we are committed to engaging with our community and will be holding our own patient engagement events once further details and timescales are confirmed.
We are actively working with colleagues at the ICB and Broadland District Council to ensure that appropriate healthcare provision is in place to support the growing population in the area. Our primary goal remains clear: to meet the needs of our patients with compassion, quality, and continuity. We do not wish to become embroiled in political matters, but rather focus on delivering the best care we can.
It’s important to acknowledge that access challenges in general practice are not unique to our locality—they are being felt across the country. Rising demand, workforce pressures, and outdated premises all contribute to the strain. Our current facilities limit the scope of services we can offer, and we are looking forward to working towards premises that are better suited to meet the needs of an expanding community.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing more updates soon.
